Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from O'Connell Street, walk south towards the River Liffey. Once you reach the river, turn left and follow the riverbank west until you come to the Ha'penny Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight ahead. You'll find yourself on Temple Bar's bustling streets. Continue straight until you reach Fleet Street, then turn right. Follow Fleet Street until you reach the junction with Exchange Street Lower, where you will see Smock Alley Theatre on your left at 6-7 Exchange Street Lower.

    From the main bus station, Busaras, take the bus number 16 or 41 towards the city center. Get off at the stop at O'Connell Bridge. From there, walk south along O'Connell Street towards the River Liffey. Cross the river using the Ha'penny Bridge. Once across, head straight, passing through Temple Bar until you reach Fleet Street.
