Bus
From the city center, make your way to O'Connell Street and find the bus stop for the 126 or 27 bus. Board the bus and travel north towards the Northside. Get off at the stop 'Clonliffe Road, Croke Park', which is about a 15-minute ride. From there, walk east on Clonliffe Road until you reach the junction with the River Tolka. Turn left and walk along the riverbank until you see the Chimney Viewing Tower on your right.
DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit)
Head to the nearest DART station, which could be Tara Street or Pearse Station. Take the DART heading north towards Howth or Malahide. Alight at Drumcondra Station, which is approximately a 15-minute ride. Once you exit the station, walk north on Drumcondra Road for about 10 minutes until you reach the Chimney Viewing Tower, which will be on your left.
Taxi/Walking
If you're close to the city center, you can easily take a taxi to the Chimney Viewing Tower. Just ask the driver to take you to 'Chimney Viewing Tower, Northside'. If you prefer walking, head to the Mater Hospital, which is a well-known landmark. From the hospital, walk east towards Clonliffe Road, and continue straight until you see the tower.
Walking
If you are in the vicinity of Croke Park, you can walk to the Chimney Viewing Tower. Start at the main entrance of Croke Park, head east on Clonliffe Road for about 10 minutes. You will pass the River Tolka along the way. Once you reach the river, the Chimney Viewing Tower will be just ahead on your right.
