Getting There

• Walking

  Exit Trinity College through the main gate onto College Green. From College Green, walk straight towards Dame Street, then turn left onto Dame Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with George's Street. Turn right onto George's Street and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. Turn left onto South Great George's Street and walk until you reach the junction with Camden Street. Here, you can catch the bus (see next option) or continue walking.

• Bus

  From Camden Street, head to the bus stop located on the left side of the street. Look for the Dublin Bus number 83 or 83A, which will take you towards the Botanic Gardens. The fare for a single journey is approximately €2.00 if you have a Leap Card or €2.50 in cash. Get off at the Glasnevin stop, which is a short walk from the entrance to the National Botanic Gardens. The gardens are located at Glasnevin, Dublin 9, D09 VY63.

• Walking (from Bus Stop)

  After getting off the bus at the Glasnevin stop, walk towards the main entrance of the National Botanic Gardens. You will see signage directing you to the entrance, which is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. The gardens are open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays and from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekends.
