Walking
From the center of Ennis, head south on O'Connell Street towards the Ennis Cathedral. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the Limerick Road (N85). Walk along Limerick Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Clare Abbey will be on your left-hand side, just before you reach the Clareabbey area.

Start by walking to the nearest bus stop on O'Connell Street. Take Bus Route 20 or 21 heading towards Limerick. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at Clareabbey. The bus will take you along Limerick Road, and you will arrive at Clare Abbey in about 10-15 minutes. Once you disembark, Clare Abbey is just a short walk back towards the road.
