Walking
From the center of Ennis, start at the Ennis Friary, located on Abbey Street. Head southwest on Abbey Street toward the junction with Francis Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the junction of the N85. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N85, heading towards Kilrush. Walk along the N85 for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction for the R474. Turn left onto the R474. Continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers. You will eventually approach Ballybeg, where Old Quarry is located. Keep an eye out for local signage or landmarks indicating the Old Quarry area.

From Ennis, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Ennis Bus Station located on Station Road. Board the bus heading towards Kilrush or any bus that stops at Ballybeg. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes depending on the service. Get off at the Ballybeg stop, and from there, it is a short walk to Old Quarry.
