From the center of Ennis, head towards O'Connell Street. Walk straight along O'Connell Street until you reach the junction with the Station Road. Turn left onto Station Road. Continue on Station Road until you reach the train station. Once at the train station, take the train to Galway. The journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Galway train station, exit the station and head southwest towards Eyre Square. From Eyre Square, head towards Quay Street and follow the signs to the Eglington Canal, which is not far from the city center.
