Getting There

    From the center of Ennis, head southeast on O'Connell Street toward Barrack Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N85. Walk along the N85 for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass the Ennis Golf Club on your left. Continue straight until you see a sign for Newtown Castle. Turn left onto the road leading to Newtown. After a short walk, Newtown Castle will be on your right.

    From the Ennis Bus Station, take the Bus Eireann route heading towards Kilrush. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Newtown, which is approximately a 15-minute ride. Once you get off the bus, walk back slightly on the road you came from, and you will see Newtown Castle a short distance down the road on your left.
