Walking
From the center of Ennis, make your way to the bus station located at Station Road. From here, take Bus Route 51 towards Galway. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Galway city. Once you disembark, head towards the promenade by following the signs pointing to Salthill. Walk straight on the promenade, and after about 20 minutes, you will reach Salthill beach.
Public Bus
Start at the central bus stop in Ennis, located on Parnell Street. Board Bus Route 51 heading to Galway. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Galway, walk towards the sea by following the road signs directing you to Salthill. It’s a short 20-minute walk along the promenade from the city center to the beach.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from Ennis to Salthill, Galway. Head to any local taxi stand in Ennis, or call for a taxi. The drive to Salthill will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic. Inform the driver to take you to Salthill beach in Galway.
