    From Galway city center, head to the Eyre Square bus station. Take the Bus Éireann route 51 towards Limerick. The bus will take you through scenic countryside, and the journey will last approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Kinvara' stop, which is close to Dunguaire Castle. From the bus stop, walk south on the main road for about 15 minutes until you see Dunguaire Castle on your right.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike rental shops in Galway city center. Head southwest on the Quay Street, then take the N59 road towards Kinvara. Follow the cycle path along the road, which will take you through beautiful landscapes. It's about a 30-minute ride. Upon reaching Kinvara, follow the signs for Dunguaire Castle, which will be on your left as you approach the village.

    Walking

    For an adventurous walk, start from the Galway city center and head towards the river. Walk along the River Corrib until you reach the Salmon Weir. Continue along the riverbanks for approximately 6 kilometers (about 1.5 hours). Follow the river until it leads you to the outskirts of Kinvara. Once in Kinvara, look for signs directing you to Dunguaire Castle, which is a short walk from the village center.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Galway. Just tell the driver you want to go to Dunguaire Castle in Kinvara.
