Buses to Doolin run multiple times a day. After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes on the bus, you will arrive in Doolin. Once you arrive at Doolin, you can take a local taxi or arrange for a shuttle service to take you the remaining 10 kilometers directly to Fanore Beach.

    Start at the Galway Cathedral, located on St. Nicholas' Church, University Road. Walk towards the Quay Street and head to the bus station at Eyre Square. Follow the signs to the Bus Éireann station. Take a bus to Doolin, which takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. From Doolin, you can either walk along the scenic coastal path for about 2.5 hours to reach Fanore Beach, or take a local taxi for a quicker journey.
