Bus
From Galway city center, walk to Eyre Square and find the bus stop for Bus Éireann. Take the Bus 51 (Galway to Ennis) towards Ennis. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at the Newtown stop. From the bus stop, walk towards Newtown Castle which is about a 10-minute walk straight along the road.
Taxi
You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Galway city. Just ask the driver to take you to Newtown Castle in Co. Clare. The journey will take roughly 25-30 minutes depending on traffic.

If you are near the Galway Cathedral, head towards the Claddagh. From there, follow the river until you reach the bus station, then take Bus 51 as mentioned above. Alternatively, for a walking trip, you can walk to a nearby bus stop or taxi stand to begin your journey.
