Walking
From the center of Salthill, head towards the Promenade along the coast. Walk northeast along the coast until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the R336. Continue walking along the R336 for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the intersection with the N59, turn left onto the N59. After about 1 kilometer, keep an eye out for the signs leading to Ross Errilly Friary, which will be on your right. Follow the path to the Friary.

From Salthill, walk to the nearest bus stop on the R336 (near the Promenade). Catch the Bus Éireann service towards Galway city center. Disembark at the Eyre Square stop in Galway. From Eyre Square, transfer to the Bus Éireann service heading towards Ballinasloe and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Ross Errilly Friary. The Friary is a short walk from the bus stop. Just follow the signs posted in the area.
