Car
From Giant's Causeway Visitor Centre, head northeast on Causeway Road (A2) for approximately 2.5 miles. Follow the signs for Ballintoy/Ballycastle. When you reach the T-junction, turn left onto the B66. Continue for about 1.5 miles until you reach the sign for Portaneevy Car Park. Turn right onto Unnamed Road to access the car park. Parking is free.

From the Giant's Causeway, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is approximately a 10-minute walk away. Take the bus to Ballycastle (Bus route 172). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Ballycastle, you can either take a taxi to Portaneevy Car Park (approximately 10 minutes) or walk if you prefer a scenic route, which is about 1.5 miles. Be sure to check the bus timetable for return trips.

If you are near the Giant's Causeway, you can also walk to Portaneevy Car Park. The distance is about 3 miles and will take around 1 hour. Head east on Causeway Road, then follow the signs towards Ballintoy. Use the footpaths along the B66 and Unnamed Road to reach the car park. This route provides beautiful views of the coastline.
