Car
From Glendalough, head south on the R756 road towards the town of Rathdrum. Continue for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach Rathdrum. Keep an eye out for signs for Avondale Forest Park. Once in Rathdrum, take a left onto the R755 and follow the signs. The entrance to Beyond the Trees Avondale will be on your right. There is parking available on-site, which may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
Start by taking a bus from Glendalough to Rathdrum. The bus service is operated by Dublin Bus or Local Link, and it typically runs several times a day. Once you arrive in Rathdrum, you can either take a taxi to Avondale Forest Park, which is about 3 kilometers away, or walk if you prefer a scenic route. If you walk, head southeast on Main Street, then take a right onto the R755 road. Follow this road for about 30 minutes until you reach the entrance to Beyond the Trees Avondale.
