From Glendalough, head south on the R756 road towards Laragh. Continue on R756 for about 5.5 km until you reach the T-junction with the R747. Turn left onto R747 and drive for about 3 km. At the next T-junction, turn right onto the R115. Continue on R115 for approximately 9 km. Look for the signs for Glenmalure and follow the road until you reach Ballyboy. Park your car at the designated parking area near the entrance to Coolalingo Waterfalls.

From Glendalough, take the local bus service (check local schedules for exact times) to the nearest stop on the R747. The closest stop to Coolalingo Waterfalls is at the junction of R747 and R115. Once you get off the bus, you will need to walk approximately 4 km to reach the waterfalls. Follow the R115 south until you reach the Ballyboy area, where you can access the walking path to the waterfalls.
