Car
If you are driving, start by navigating to the town of Glendalough in County Wicklow. From Dublin, take the N11 southbound towards Wicklow. After approximately 45 minutes, take the exit for R756 towards Glendalough. Follow the signs to Glendalough for about 20 minutes until you reach the visitor center. From there, park your car at the Glendalough car park (please note there is a parking fee of around €4 for the day). Once parked, follow the marked trails to The Spinc, which is about a 30-minute hike uphill from the visitor center.

To reach The Spinc using public transportation, take a bus from Dublin to Glendalough. The Bus Éireann route 133 runs several times a day from Dublin to Glendalough. Upon arriving at the Glendalough bus stop, walk towards the Glendalough visitor center. The hike to The Spinc starts from the visitor center and will take approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return times, as they may vary throughout the day.
