Getting There

Car
From Glendalough, head south on the R756 road. Continue for approximately 3.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the R755. Turn right onto the R755 and proceed for about 1 kilometer. Look for signs for the Wicklow Way. Turn left onto the Wicklow Way and continue for around 4 kilometers. You will see the J B Malone Memorial on your right, just off the path. There is no specific parking at the memorial, but you can park along the Wicklow Way where it's safe to do so.

Take the local bus service from Glendalough to Roundwood. Buses operate several times a day. Once you arrive in Roundwood, you will need to walk approximately 5 kilometers to the J B Malone Memorial.
