Car
If you are driving from Glendalough, head west on the R756 road. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the R762. Turn left onto the R762 and continue driving for approximately 5 kilometers. You'll then merge onto the N11 motorway heading north towards Dublin. Stay on the N11 for around 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for the R118 at Killiney. Take the exit for Killiney and follow the signs for Killiney Hill Rd. After a short drive, you will arrive at Killiney Hill Rd, where you can enjoy the scenic views of Dublin Bay.
Public Transportation
To reach Killiney Hill Rd by public transportation from Glendalough, first, take the bus 183 from Glendalough to the nearest train station, which is in Laragh. This journey will take approximately 10 minutes. Once at Laragh, transfer to the bus heading towards Dublin City Center. After about 30 minutes, get off at the nearest stop to the DART station in Shankill. From Shankill, take the DART train heading northbound towards Dublin. Get off at the Killiney station. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Killiney Hill Rd, following the signs towards the hill, where you can enjoy panoramic views.
