Getting There

  • Car

    From Glendalough, take the R756 road heading northwest. Continue on the R756 for about 8 kilometers until you reach the junction with the N81. Turn right onto the N81 and continue for approximately 10 kilometers. Take the exit for the M50 motorway towards Dublin. Merge onto the M50 and follow it for about 20 kilometers. Take exit 9 for the N7 towards the city center. Merge onto the N7 and stay on this road until you reach the junction with the R110. Turn left onto the R110, which will lead you into the Liberties area. Liberty Market is located on Meath Street in The Liberties. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that there may be parking fees.

    From Glendalough, you can take Bus Éireann Route 183 to get to Dublin. Catch the bus from the Glendalough bus stop and travel to Dublin city center, which takes about 1 hour. Once in Dublin, you can transfer to the Luas tram or another bus. If you decide to take the bus, you can take the 27 or 77A bus routes towards the city center.
