If you are already in Glendalough, simply head towards the Glendalough Visitor Centre, which is a central point for tourists. From the Visitor Centre, walk towards the Upper Lake, following the signs for the Monastic Site. The Glendalough Cathedral is located approximately a 15-minute walk from the Visitor Centre. Follow the path that leads along the lakeside, and you will soon see the towering round tower and the cathedral in the distance.

If you are using a car, park at the Glendalough car park located near the Visitor Centre. The car park is well-signposted and charges a fee of about €4 for a day's parking. Once parked, exit the car park and walk towards the Upper Lake, following the path to the Monastic Site where the Glendalough Cathedral is located. It's about a 15-minute walk from the parking area.

For those traveling by public transportation, take the Dublin Bus route 44 from Dublin to Glendalough. Once you arrive at the Glendalough stop, you will be approximately a 20-minute walk from the Glendalough Cathedral. Head towards the Glendalough Visitor Centre and then follow the same walking directions to the cathedral as described above. Please note that bus fares vary; expect to pay around €10 for a one-way ticket from Dublin to Glendalough.
