Walking
From Kilkenny city center, head southwest on High Street towards the Parade. Continue straight onto the Green Street. When you reach the junction, take a left onto the Waterford Road (N10). Walk for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the R700 towards Waterford. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will see signage for the Comeragh Mountains. Follow the signs, and you may need to walk an additional 1.5 kilometers to reach the entrance to the mountain area, which is located at Curraheen, Co. Waterford.
Public Transport
From Kilkenny city center, walk to the Kilkenny Bus Station located on MacDonagh Junction. Take a bus heading towards Waterford. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Waterford, you can take a local taxi service to Curraheen, which is approximately 10 kilometers from the bus station, or you can check if there's any local bus service available that goes directly to Curraheen.
