From Kilkenny City, head to the bus station located at 8-9 Macdonell Gardens. Take the Bus Éireann route 370 towards Wexford. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. You need to get off at the New Ross stop. Once you arrive, the Dunbrody Famine Ship Experience is approximately a 10-minute walk away.

If you're in central Kilkenny, you can take a leisurely walk to the bus station mentioned above. From Kilkenny Castle, head northeast towards the Parade, then turn left onto High Street. Continue until you reach the junction with John Street, where you will turn right. Follow the signs to the bus station. After your bus journey, upon arriving in New Ross, exit the bus and head south on South Street. Turn left onto the Quay, and the Dunbrody Famine Ship Experience will be on your right.
