If you are travelling by car, start from Kilkenny City. Head southwest on the N76 towards Callan. After about 12 km, turn right onto the R697 road. Continue on the R697 for approximately 6 km until you reach the village of Ballyragget. From Ballyragget, take the L3220 road towards Clonassy. Follow this road for about 3 km, and you'll arrive at a small car park near the Poulanassy Waterfall trailhead. Be aware that parking may be limited, so arrive early if possible.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Kilkenny City to Ballyragget. Bus Eireann operates services on this route. Once you arrive in Ballyragget, you will need to walk approximately 3 km to reach the waterfall. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
