If you are starting from Kilkenny Castle, head east towards the Parade and then continue along the Parade until you reach the junction with John Street. Turn left onto John Street and continue until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with the Ring Road. Cross the road and continue straight onto St. Kieran's Street. Follow this road until you reach the Cathedral on your right after approximately 10 minutes.

From the Smithwick's Experience Kilkenny, exit onto Parliament Street and turn right. Continue straight onto High Street and then take a left onto John Street. Keep walking until you reach the traffic lights at the Ring Road. Cross the road and continue along St. Kieran's Street. St Canice's Cathedral will be on your right after about a 15-minute walk.

If you are near the Kilkenny City Bus Station, take Bus Route 1 towards the Ring Road. Get off at the stop for St. Kieran's Street. From there, walk down St. Kieran's Street heading towards the Cathedral. It will be a short walk of about 5 minutes.

Starting from the Kilkenny Railway Station, exit the station and walk straight down the road towards the city center. At the first roundabout, take the second exit onto the Ring Road. Follow the road for about 15 minutes, then turn left onto St. Kieran's Street. Continue walking straight, and you will find St Canice's Cathedral on your right.
