    From Kilkenny City, you can take the bus service from the Kilkenny Bus Station. Look for the bus heading towards Castlecomer. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Castlecomer Road stop. From there, walk along Castlecomer Road towards the Dunmore Cave, which is about a 15-minute walk. The cave entrance is located on the right side of the road.

    If you're starting from the city center, head northeast on High Street towards the junction with John Street. Continue straight onto the Castlecomer Road (N78). Follow this road for about 3 kilometers. You will pass some local shops and houses. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Dunmore Cave; the entrance will be on your right after about 3 kilometers.
