Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Kilkenny's main square, known as the Market Cross, head south on High Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the John Street. Turn right onto John Street and walk towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto The Parade. Continue on The Parade until you reach the next roundabout, and take the second exit onto the Coach Road. Follow Coach Road for about 10 minutes, and you will see St Canice's Cathedral on your left.

    From Kilkenny City Bus Station, take Bus Route 1 towards Callan. Get off at the stop near the junction of Coach Road and Ashfield Park. From there, walk along Coach Road for approximately 5 minutes, and you will arrive at St Canice's Cathedral, which will be on your right.
