Walking
From the center of Killarney town, head west on Main Street towards the National Park. Continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of Killarney National Park. Once inside the park, follow the signs that direct you towards the Ring of Kerry scenic route. The park is well-marked, and you will find stunning views and paths that lead you towards the Ring of Kerry. It is approximately a 3-mile walk from the town center to the start of the scenic route.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle in Killarney town. Once you have your bike, head west on Main Street, then take a left onto Park Road. Follow Park Road straight until you reach the Killarney National Park entrance. Once you enter the park, follow the designated bike paths that lead towards the Ring of Kerry route. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, and remember to stay safe by following local cycling guidelines.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Killarney town, walk to the Killarney Bus Station located on Beech Road. Look for buses that are heading towards Kenmare or Killorglin as they often travel along the Ring of Kerry route.
