Continue along this road until you reach the junction with the R600 road. Turn left onto the R600, which is also known as the Kinsale to Summercove road. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by scenic views of the harbor and surrounding areas. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Charles Fort. As you approach Summercove, you will see the entrance to Charles Fort on your left. The fort is a short walk from the parking area.
