From Limerick City Center, walk to the 'Arthur's Quay' bus stop. Board the Bus Eireann service number 51 toward Ennis. The bus will take you directly to Ennis, which is approximately a 30-minute journey. Once you arrive at the Ennis bus station, exit and walk toward 'Limerick Rd.' It’s about a 15-minute walk to Clare Abbey. Head southeast on 'O'Connell Street' then turn left onto 'Parnell Street.' Continue straight until you reach 'Limerick Rd.' Turn right and walk until you see Clare Abbey on your left.
Walking
If you are already in Ennis, you can walk to Clare Abbey. Start from the Ennis town center at 'O'Connell Square.' Walk west along 'O'Connell Street' until you reach 'Abbey Street.' Turn left onto 'Abbey Street' and continue straight. Follow 'Abbey Street' as it turns into 'Limerick Rd.' Clare Abbey will be on your right after about a 20-minute walk.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker and more direct route, you can take a taxi from Limerick City. Simply find a taxi at any taxi rank in the city or use a ride-hailing app. Provide the driver with 'Clare Abbey, Limerick Rd, Clareabbey, Ennis, Co. Clare' as your destination. The drive should take about 25 minutes, depending on traffic.
