    Getting There

    Walking

    From Salthill Promenade, head east towards the main road (Threadneedle Road). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the R336. Turn left onto the R336 and continue straight for about 5 kilometers. You will pass through the village of Ballybrit. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will reach Kinvara. As you approach Kinvara, keep an eye out for Dunguaire Castle on your right, located by the water. The castle is situated along the coast and is easily visible.

    Bus

    From Salthill, head to the nearest bus stop located on the R336. You can take the bus route number 51 or 423 that heads towards Kinvara. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach Kinvara. Once you get off, walk towards the coast, and Dunguaire Castle will be a short walk from the bus stop, located by the water.
