A slice of Heaven

Inis OIrr is a magical place. A sense of peace just washed over us as we explored the stone walled paths, 360degree views from where ever we stood. Una and John welcomed us warmly, paid attention to every detail to make our experience on the island meaningful. Have you ever felt like you’ve known a person your whole life the minute you meet. Well that’s how all four of us felt the minute we met. History of Inis Oirr came alive from now to the Bronze Age. Una was born and raised on the island, and returned to raise her family with her husband John . Deep roots, deep passion for the island , knowledge rooted in personal history and extensive study. She really shared the spirit of the island . Not to mention sharing delicious home made baked goods, hearty soup and sandwiches in her cozy tea shop. The weather was glorious , blue sky , bright sunshine. I would give 5 ++++ stars! Go dtí go gcasfaimid arís, go mbeannaí Dia duit féin agus do mhuintir!
