After approximately 5 kilometers from the main Slea Head viewpoint, you will see a small turn-off on your right. Follow the narrow road that leads to the fort's parking area. Please note that parking is free, but space is limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.

If using public transportation, take a bus from Dingle to the Slea Head Drive route. The bus service is available but may have limited frequency, so check the local schedule beforehand. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Cahergal Stone Fort. From there, it's a short 15-minute walk down the road, following the signs to the fort. Be prepared for some uneven terrain along the pathway.

If you are already on Slea Head Drive and prefer to walk, find a safe place to park your vehicle or leave the bus at the nearest stop. Walk east along the R559 road for about 1 kilometer.
