Walking
From the Killarney town center, head southwest on Main Street towards College Street. Continue straight to the roundabout and take the first exit onto the N71 road towards Kenmare. Walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the next roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the R569 road towards Cahersiveen. Continue walking for about 8 kilometers; you will pass beautiful scenery along the way. Once you arrive in Cahersiveen, look for signs directing you to Bóthar Cárthann, which is the road leading to the Birthplace of Daniel O'Connell. Follow Bóthar Cárthann, and you will reach your destination.

From Killarney, head to the Killarney Bus Station located on Park Road. Take the Bus Éireann route 40 towards Cahersiveen. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Cahersiveen stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the town center, and follow the signs to Bóthar Cárthann. The Birthplace of Daniel O'Connell is a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 10-15 minutes on foot.
