Driving
From Killybegs, travel west on the R263 towards Glencolumbkille. After approximately 5 minutes, look for the Largy Viewpoint on the left. Parking is limited, especially during peak season. Do not park on the road. From the viewpoint, walk with caution north along the road approximately 250 meters to a private lane. Check for access signs and be sure to close the gate. Follow the path towards the coast (350m), then walk along the slippery, rocky shoreline (340m) to the cave. Visiting the waterfall is free.

From Donegal town, take Bus 490 or 492 towards Killybegs. Alight at the Main Street stop in Killybegs. From there, it is best to take a taxi or local bus (if available) to Largy Viewpoint, as the distance is approximately 5km and there is no safe walking path along the R263. Bus fare from Donegal Town to Killybegs is approximately €8-€12. Taxi from Killybegs to Largy Viewpoint is approximately €10-€15.

From Largy Viewpoint, walk carefully north along the R263 (approximately 250 meters) to the access lane. Be extremely cautious as there is no footpath and the road can be busy. Check for access signs and be sure to close the gate. Follow the path towards the coast (350m), then walk along the slippery, rocky shoreline (340m) to the cave. Ensure you have checked tide times. There are no fees associated with walking to the waterfall.
