    Car

    From the main area of Slieve League, head west on the R263 road towards Teelin. Continue to follow R263 for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach the junction where the R263 meets the N56. Turn left onto the N56 and continue for about 4 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Muckross Head and Trá Bán Beach. Turn right onto the local road that leads towards the beach and follow it for roughly 2 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the beach.

    Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take the bus service from Donegal Town to Teelin. The bus should drop you off at Teelin village. From Teelin, you might need to arrange a taxi or walk the remaining distance. Walking to Trá Bán Beach from Teelin is about 4 kilometers: head west from the bus stop on the R263 towards Muckross Head, then turn right at the appropriate local road signs leading to the beach.

    Walking

    For those already near Slieve League and wishing to walk, you can take the scenic route from the Slieve League Cliffs. Start at the Slieve League Cliffs car park and follow the marked walking paths towards Teelin. The walk to Trá Bán Beach will take you about 1.5 hours and is approximately 6 kilometers, offering stunning views of the cliffs and the coastline along the way.
