From the bus stop, follow the signs towards Silver Strand, which is about a 20-minute walk downhill. The path will lead you directly to the beach.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Sligo town to Silver Strand. You can find taxis at designated taxi ranks or call a local taxi service. The drive will take around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. The driver should be familiar with the location, but you can provide them with the address: Malin Beg, Glencolumbkille, Co. Donegal.

Walking

For the adventurous, you can walk to Silver Strand from Sligo town. Start at O'Connell Street and head towards the River Garavogue.
