Bus
From Sligo town center, head to the Bus Station located on Markievicz Road. Take the Bus Eireann route 64 towards Donegal Town. Inform the driver you wish to get off at Bundoran. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Bundoran, exit the bus and walk towards the beach area, following the signs for Bundoran Beach, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Sligo town to Bundoran Beach. Simply hail a taxi from the street or call a local taxi service. The journey will take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. You can ask the driver to take you to Bundoran Beach, and they will know the exact location.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and would like to stretch your legs, you can walk from the Sligo town center to Bundoran Beach. It’s a long trek, approximately 20 kilometers (12.4 miles). Head south on O'Connell Street, then take the N4 road towards Bundoran. Follow signs for the N15 towards Bundoran. Please note that this is a lengthy walk and may take over 4 hours, so ensure you are prepared with water and snacks.
