From Sligo Town Centre, head towards the Sligo Bus Station located on O'Connell Street. Once at the bus station, take the Bus Eireann service towards Donegal Town. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the correct times. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Donegal Town, disembark at the main bus stop. From here, look for the sign indicating the direction to Fintra Beach. You will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) along the R267 road towards Fintragh. The beach is well signposted, and you will reach Fintra Bay after about 30 minutes of walking.
