From Sligo town center, walk to the Sligo Bus Station located on Quay Street. From there, take the Bus Éireann Route 64 towards Dromahair or Route 195 towards Ballina. Ensure you check the schedule for the exact times. You will need to get off at the stop for Riverstown, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive in Riverstown, Sligo Folk Park is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Head east on the Main Street, then take a left onto Millview Road. Follow Millview Road until you reach Millview House, where Sligo Folk Park is located.

If you are starting from the center of Sligo, you can walk to Sligo Folk Park, although it will take a bit longer. From the Sligo town center, head southeast towards the River Garavogue and cross the bridge. Continue straight onto the N4 and follow it for approximately 8 kilometers. You will pass through scenic countryside. When you reach Riverstown, look for signs directing you to Millview House, which is on Millview Road. The park will be located there.
