Car

If you're traveling by car, head to Doolin from any location in The Burren. From the town of Lisdoonvarna, take the R478 road towards Doolin. Continue on R478 for about 6 kilometers (approximately 10 minutes). As you approach Doolin, keep an eye out for signs for 'Doolin Cave' which will direct you to Craggycorradan West. The cave is located on the left-hand side of the road. There is parking available on site, but be mindful that there may be a small parking fee.

Bus

If you are relying on public transportation, take a bus from Ennis to Doolin. Bus Éireann operates services on Route 350. You will need to check the latest schedule for departure times. Once you arrive at Doolin, you can take a local taxi or walk (about a 30-minute walk) to Doolin Cave, which is located approximately 3 kilometers from the main bus stop in Doolin. Ensure to confirm the fare with the taxi driver, as it can vary.

Bicycle

For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Doolin. You can find rental shops near the bus stop. Once you have your bike, head towards the R478 road and follow it for about 3 kilometers. The ride is scenic, and you will see signs for Doolin Cave along the way. This option allows you to enjoy the beautiful landscape of The Burren at your own pace.

Walking

If you are already in Doolin and prefer to walk, Doolin Cave is approximately 3 kilometers from the village center. Start by heading southwest on the R478 road. Follow the road until you see signs for Doolin Cave, which will guide you to the entrance. The walk takes about 30 to 40 minutes, and you will be treated to stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
