If you're driving, head towards the N70 road from wherever you are on The Kerry Way. Follow the N70 toward Sneem. At Sneem, take the turn onto the R568 toward Castlecove. Continue on the R568 for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach the sign for Staigue Fort. Turn right onto a small road that leads directly to the fort. Note that parking is available nearby, but be cautious of the narrow lanes.

If you are using public transport, take a bus to Sneem from Killarney or Kenmare. Once you arrive in Sneem, you will need to arrange a taxi to take you to Staigue Fort, as public transport does not run directly to the fort. The taxi ride will take approximately 10 minutes and should cost around €10-€15. Ensure to arrange your return taxi beforehand.

For the adventurous, if you are already on The Kerry Way and are near Sneem, you can hike to Staigue Fort which is about 4 kilometers from Sneem.
