From Tralee, head to the Tralee Bus Station located at 1-3 Edward Street, Tralee. Take the Bus Éireann route 279 towards Kilkee. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver you want to get off at Kilbaha. Once you arrive at Kilbaha, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach Loop Head Lighthouse. Follow the signs pointing towards Loop Head, and you will see the lighthouse in the distance.

Train and Bus
From Tralee, walk to Tralee Train Station located at Station Road. Take the train towards Limerick Junction. After arriving at Limerick Junction, transfer to a bus heading towards Kilkee. The bus will drop you off at Kilbaha. From there, you will need to walk about 1.5 kilometers to reach Loop Head Lighthouse. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the lighthouse.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle in Tralee. Start from the town center and head west on the N86 towards Castlegregory. Follow the signs for Kilkee, turning onto the R487. The total distance is about 28 kilometers, and it may take approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on your cycling pace. Once in Kilbaha, follow the signs for Loop Head Lighthouse, which is about 1.5 kilometers from Kilbaha village.

For the adventurous, you can walk from Tralee to Kilbaha, which is approximately 30 kilometers. Start from the center of Tralee, head west on the N86, then follow the signs towards Kilkee. This journey will take several hours, so ensure you have provisions and plan for a full day trip. Once in Kilbaha, follow the signs to Loop Head Lighthouse, which is about 1.5 kilometers from the village.
