From Tralee town center, head to the bus station located on Edward Street. Look for buses heading towards Tarbert. Purchase a ticket to Tarbert at the station or on the bus. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Tarbert, disembark at the main stop. The Tarbert Bridewell Courthouse and Jail Museum is located a short 5-minute walk away. Head southeast on N67 for about 400 meters until you see the museum on your left.

If you are near the Tralee Bay Wetlands, you can take a scenic walking route. Start by heading south towards the R558 road. Continue walking along the R558 until you reach the junction with N69. Turn left onto N69 and follow the road until you reach Tarbert (approximately 5.5 km). Once in Tarbert, follow the signs to the Tarbert Bridewell Courthouse and Jail Museum, which is located on N67.
