From Kilrush town, the Vandeleur Walled Garden is accessible via the TFI Local Link route 337 towards Kildysart. Alternatively, Bus Éireann route 336, serving Ennis to Doonbeg, stops in Kilrush. From the Kilrush bus stops, the garden is approximately a 7-minute walk. A single fare on either bus costs approximately €3-5, depending on the distance traveled.

From the center of Kilrush, follow the brown heritage fingerpost signs towards Kilimer on the N67. After approximately 1 kilometer, you'll see a high stone wall on the left. The entrance to the garden is about 500 meters further, with signs indicating the turn-off. The walk from Kilrush town center takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

The entrance to the Vandeleur Walled Garden is approximately 500 meters further along this road. Turn left at the signposted entrance. Free parking is available on-site for both cars and coaches.
