Bus
From Waterford city center, head to the bus stop located at The Quay. Take Bus Route 40 towards Dungarvan. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop labeled 'Curraheen'. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the entrance to the Comeragh Mountains. Follow the signs for the hiking trails.
Walking
If you are near Waterford city center, you can walk to the Comeragh Mountains. Start at the Waterford Cathedral on Cathedral Square and head towards the River Suir. Walk along the river promenade until you reach the end of the quay, then turn left onto the R680 road. Continue straight for about 4 kilometers until you reach the area of Curraheen. You will then see signs for the Comeragh Mountains.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Waterford city center. From there, cycle towards the R680 road. Follow the road for approximately 4 kilometers. The route will take you through scenic views of the countryside. Once you reach Curraheen, look for signs directing you to the Comeragh Mountains. The biking journey should take around 20-30 minutes.
