Walking
If you're in Waterford city center, start at the Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre. From there, head north on The Mall and continue straight until you reach the bridge over the River Suir. Cross the bridge and follow the road as it curves to the right onto the R680. Continue on this road for about 2.5 km until you see signs for the Waterford Greenway on your left. The entrance to the Greenway is well-marked.

Public Transport
From the city center, make your way to the bus station located on the Quay. Take the Bus Éireann route 360 towards Dungarvan. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Waterford Greenway stop, which is approximately 15 minutes from the city center. Once you get off the bus, you’ll find the entrance to the Greenway close by.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike shops in the city center, such as Waterford Bike Hire. After renting your bike, head towards the Quay and follow the same route as if you were walking. Once you reach the entrance to the Waterford Greenway, you can enjoy a scenic ride along the path.

You can also take a taxi from anywhere in Waterford. Simply ask the driver to take you to the Waterford Greenway. It’s a popular destination, so they should know exactly where to drop you off. The taxi ride will take approximately 10 minutes from the city center.
