From the center of Westport, head east on the Main Street (N5). Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with the R335 road. Turn left onto the R335, which will lead you towards the village of Murrisk. This scenic route will take you along the coast with beautiful views of Clew Bay. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will arrive at Murrisk. As you reach the village, look for signs indicating the direction to Croagh Patrick. The trailhead is located at the base of the mountain in Murrisk.
