Getting There

Walking
From the center of Westport, head towards the Westport Train Station located on Station Road. Upon reaching the station, you will find a path that leads to the main road, the N59. Turn right onto the N59 and walk for approximately 2.5 kilometers. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the countryside. After reaching the junction with Renvyle Road, turn left onto Renvyle Road and continue for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Letterfrack. Follow these signs until you reach the village of Letterfrack. From Letterfrack, continue on the main road towards Dawros, and you will find DK Connemara Oysters located at Ballinakill Bay, just a short walk from the village.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Westport. Start from the town center and head towards the Westport Train Station on Station Road. Follow the same route as if you were walking: take the N59 towards Letterfrack. There are dedicated cycle paths in some sections, so be sure to stay safe and watch for any traffic. Once you reach the junction with Renvyle Road, turn left and cycle for about 1 kilometer towards Letterfrack. After passing through Letterfrack, follow the signs to Dawros and you will arrive at DK Connemara Oysters at Ballinakill Bay.

To reach DK Connemara Oysters by public transport, you can take a bus from Westport to Letterfrack. Head to the Westport Bus Station located in the town center, which is serviced by Bus Éireann. Check the bus schedule for departures to Letterfrack. The bus journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Letterfrack, you can either walk towards Dawros following the signs, which is about a 15-minute walk, or inquire locally for a taxi service to take you directly to DK Connemara Oysters at Ballinakill Bay.
