From the town center of Westport, walk to the Westport bus station located on Bridge Street. There, you can catch a bus heading towards Clifden or Galway. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Guinness Beach, which is located on the R341 road in Ballyconneely. The bus ride should take about 30-40 minutes. Once you get off the bus, you will need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the beach.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Westport. Head towards the R335 road from the town center, following the signs towards the coast. Continue on the R335 until you reach the junction with the R341. Turn left onto R341, and follow the road for approximately 5 km until you reach Guinness Beach. The route is scenic and takes you through beautiful countryside.

For a more adventurous option, you can walk from Westport to Guinness Beach. Start at the town center and head towards the Westport Quay, following the path along the water. From there, make your way to the R335 road, then follow the road until you reach the R341. This walk is about 10 km one way and will take approximately 2-3 hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
