Bus
From Westport town centre, head to the Westport Bus Station located on Station Road. Look for a bus heading towards Leenaun, which may be labeled as 'Leenaun' or 'Killary'. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Leenaun, disembark at the Leenaun village stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the coast, following the signs for Killary Sheep Farm. It is roughly a 15-minute walk from the bus stop, and you'll follow the scenic coastal path. The farm will be on your left as you approach.
Bike
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Westport. Start your journey by heading south on the N59 road out of Westport. Follow the N59 until you reach the turnoff for Leenaun. The ride will take around 40 minutes, and you'll enjoy beautiful views along the way. When you reach Leenaun, follow the signs for the Killary Sheep Farm, which is located just outside the village on your left.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, you can take a long scenic route from Westport to Leenaun. Start from the Westport Town Hall and head south towards the N59. Follow the N59 road towards Leenaun, which is about 13 kilometers away. This walk will take you approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on your pace. Keep an eye out for the Killary Sheep Farm sign as you approach the village; it will be on your left just before entering Leenaun.
